Volunteers Needed - Tuesday April 28 10 am - 3pm
The cities of San Jacinto and Hemet are preparing Active Transportation Program grant applications for funds to create a valley-wide, non-motorized pedestrian and bicycle network. We need your help to help make this a reality. Volunteers will be counting pedestrians and bicyclists along the proposed network, taking photos, and participating in a debrief and feedback session. Utility User’s Tax Oversight Committee
Application deadline: April 30, 2015 at 4 p.m.
The City Council of the City of San Jacinto is seeking applications from citizens interested in serving on San Jacinto’s Utility User’s Tax Oversight Committee. The Oversight Committee’s purpose is to verify, to the public, that Utility Users’ Tax funds are spent in accordance with those purposes set forth in Measure “A”, and any ordinances or resolutions adopted by the City Council consistent with Measure “A”.  The Committee will be comprised of seven members, of which two members would be appointed by the City Council (one senior citizen resident and one adult resident).  The Oversight Committee would meet annually, in April, to review City financial records regarding the Utility Users Tax.

The Riverside County Economic Development Agency is holding a free workshop for homebuyers interested in purchasing a home in the County of Riverside. Learn about the County’s homeownership programs and other available resources.
