- Enforceable Obligations Payment Schedule
New 2011 laws have the combined effect of abolishing every redevelopment agency unless the community that created the agency agrees to participate in an Alternative Voluntary Redevelopment Program and pay a “community remittance.” If the city does not partcipate and chooses to dissolve their Redevelopment Agency, they must adopt an Enforceable Obligations Payment Schedule (“EOPS”) outlining the payment of the Agency’s outstanding financial obligations, by August 27, 2011.
