San Jacinto Municipal Utilities provides water and sewer service for half of the interior City of San Jacinto. The other half of the City and the outer areas are served by Eastern Municipal Water District.

Bill Payment Options

The City is pleased to offer several options for paying your San Jacinto Municipal Utility bill. To better serve our customers, San Jacinto Municipal Utilities water bills are now due on the 3rd of every month.

Drop Box Location

Located on Sheriff Street at the corner of Sixth Street (no cash, please).  
Payments dropped off after 7 am, will be posted next business day.

Please note, Paymentus charges a small processing fee of $3.75 for residential (per $200 increment) or $15.95 for businesses (per $500 increment) to use their service. Water Quality

glass of waterAn assessment of the drinking water sources for the City of San Jacinto was completed June 2006. The City of San Jacinto Municipal Utilities' wells are not considered vulnerable to any potential activities associated with contaminants detected in the water supply. All City of San Jacinto wells are chlorinated to insure that we are providing the safest water for our customers.

Before starting a water account, please contact one of our representatives at (951) 537-6386 to confirm that the location needing service is within our water district.

Please note that starting water service with the San Jacinto Water Department will automatically start refuse and sewer service.

Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP)

This Urban Water Management Plan (Plan) was prepared in accordance with the California Urban Water Management Planning Act (Act), which became effective on January 1, 1985 (see Appendix A.1). The Act requires every “urban water supplier" to prepare and adopt an Urban Water Management Plan, and to periodically review its Plan at least once every five years and make any amendments or changes which are indicated by the review. The City of San Jacinto’s (City) Plan is an update for the year 2010.
